PACS® is a patented communications process from Peaktronics, Inc. that is ideally suited for networking industrial controls. Powerful, yet simple, connecting one or thousands of PACS® devices (such as the Peaktronics PAM-100 digital servo for AC electric actuators) into a digital network is as easy as connecting 4-20mA current loops. PACS® fully automates the installation process; no settings of any kind are required, and connections up to 5000 feet between devices are made with low cost modular cabling that takes only seconds to terminate on each end. Additionally, full data error detection and short circuit protection, all make PACS® a great choice in the industrial environment.
